From Chuck number 1.
I saw a gorgeous rainbow. I didn't have my camera and everyone was below deck, so you just have to take my word for it. I have the mid afternoon watch from 3 until 6. The rainbow started on the horizon and arced up about 30 degrees. A moment later it stretched from horizon to horizon, a full arc. It was very vivid and then became a double rainbow. Soon, the heavens opened up and I was drenched in seconds. I guess you just have to take the good with the bad.

Hi Chuck,
That sounds like the neatest rainbow I've ever seen or heard of. How cool! Sounds like the weather and sky conditions have been quite dramatic.
I've been enjoying seeing and hearing about you and Jan during this adventure.
